Welcome!

Welcome to the Woolgirl Sock Club! I'm so excited for each of you to receive your packages this week, so keep me posted on the blog as to when you receive them! Packages will be shipped out mid-week (as I am running a little bit behind on this first shipment), but most of you should receive your package by the end of the week! Thank you for your patience!

I created this blog so that those of you who would like to can post about your sock club shipments, including any questions or comments you might have for the group (or for me), and post photos of competed socks and socks in progress. I am also setting up a Flickr account where you will each be able to post photos of your completed socks and socks-in-progress. This will be important for the contests! Stay tuned here for more information in the following week.

Please feel free to email me at jennifer@woolgirl.com if you have any questions at all about the sock club shipments or the patterns (or anything else!). We tried to make sure that the patterns are error free, but thank you for your patience in realizing that we are also human and that patterns do occasionally have errors, so if you run into any, please don't hesitate to email me or post here. Also, feel free to snag the Woolgirl Sock Club button on the sidebar to use on your blogs! We are developing a few more fun ones in the next couple of weeks!

I have tried to include every one of your names in the sidebar, with a link to your blog (if you currently have one), so if you don't see your name there, or have a blog name change or addition, please just send me an email I'll change that as soon as I can!

I look forward to hearing from each of you and wish you each a wonderful sock club experience!

Happy Knitting!
Jen

Hi Jen, good to hear from you. I just set up this account, so I've got a couple of questions; does this post only go to your account? I've never set up a blogger account for myself, so I'm not sure I've done this right. Also, I don't see my name on the side bar on the main Blog. At any rate, if there's anyone out there who knows how to do this, I'm open.

I've been knitting socks on DPNs for about a year. Circular needles sounds interesting, I wouldn't mind hearing about them....I'm excited about working with hand dyed yarn, I love the colorways and can't wait to see the patterns they create.

Thanks, Jen!

Never let it be said that I was silent when I should have been introducing myself.

I'm Pam M., and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area (about five minutes from the Bay itself). I've been knitting for 47 years and am currently madly in love with socks. In fact, the vast majority of my stash is sock yarn. That yarn has overtaken my entire house, it seems.

Jen is absolutely the best and has become a good friend through our many communications. I know that she'll do the club with style, fun, and the highest-quality yarns she can find. I can't wait for the package to arrive!

Thank you, Jen, for being such a wonderful lady. It's truly my pleasure to know you.

And to the rest of you, it's a pleasure to meet all of you, too!

Whooo Hooo. Can't wait for the first shipment! I think I might be the only guy on the list. I'm not 100% sure but that's cool. I live in Berkeley, CA and have been knitting for about 3 years now!
