Attack of the kitten!

I am almost done with my second sock and yesterday almost proved fatal for it. Well, I left my sock in progress on my bed while I stepped away for a moment and when I got back the kitten (4 months old) was EATING!!! my yarn. She had chewed it clean off the sock and seperated it from the ball!! I was ready to KILL her but I fixed it. Almost done.

Yeap, happen to a ball or two or three in my house as well. they are indiscrimante as well, or very bad palates as they will do this with acrylic or wool, wool blends. watch the kitten though if she ate a long enough piece it could cause litterbox problems if it doesnt come out in one piece,ie long piece... I leave it at that...

I can't leave any knitting unattended anymore. My cat (who is old enough to know better) just recently acquired the yarn eating habit. She seems to prefer natural fibres and is fond of Fleece Artist BFL (the sweater had to go into time-out). It's a good thing she's still cute or, as I have shouted at her, she'd be eggrolls!

Yup, she loves the natural fibers. Mabye it has a sheep flavor to it? LOL
