just in time...

stayed up late last night (last day of vacation) to finish the pair.... quite a bit of left over yarn.

I wanted to take a picture to reflect how much I love these socks....

I 'heart' woolgirl sock club!

Love your socks - did you do 3 or 4 lace repeats? It looks as though you did the rows of stockinette, and I'm wanting to add 4 lace repeats.....
How long did you make your foot after the heel before the toe decreases? WOW - lots of questions? I just really want to know if I can do another round of lace repeats with stockinette already done, and have enough yarn - size 7 feet here....

Kris - I did 3 repeats on the cuff and the 5 rows of stockinette. I actually like how the stockinette seems to hold the sock up for me, I might do it more often.

I have longish toes, so I did the lace repeats just until the place on my foot where it bends when you flex your toes back (at ball of foot). Then I did about 4-5 rows of stockinette before starting decreases.
I used size 5 needles, with 6 st/in gauge. I have size 10 feet, so I think you could probably work another repeat and be okay in terms of how much yarn you have left. hope that helps, jean

Thanks for your help Jean! Your socks look great! I love the colors and the pattern! :) I'll do another row of lace repeats....
I'm a strong supported of the no SSS syndrome, so I'll be sure to post when I have them complete, and if I had enough yarn.
