My favorite O'Keefe is called "From the Lake". I love the beach and the water, and this painting reminds me of the waves and the movement of the ocean (even though the painting involves a lake!). The colors also call out to me. Somehow I find this painting is both calming and very turbulent all at once. Here is the painting:
