Georgia and me

Nothing like me waiting till the last minute to post to the woolgirl sock club blog for the Georgia O'Keefe contest (blogger wouldn't let me log on last night). What took me so long is that I needed to get over to my parents' house because they have a framed pastel drawing that I did during college. I was an art major and greatly affected my Georgia O'Keefe's work...especially her nudes. I experimented with her method of gradiation of color to create a mood specifically with pastels. I later moved on to very large oil canvases and did my own 'thing'...blending music and words into the canvas but still using her shape creation.
